I watched the movie lilies not for me today and here's the thing: I can't stop thinking about it. The cinematography and aesthetic were flawless and Fionn O'Shea's performance was excellent but God! It was horrific! Thinking it's based on actual, historical events absolutely sickens me.

Four years later, I watched the series Leonardo at last. It was a highly fictionalised account of Leonardo da Vinci's life. I was dubious at first but found it entertaining enough in the end. I'm not sure Aidan Turner was entirely right for the role but god, he's so pretty I'd forgive him anything

Finished the first season of #arcane earlier today. Here's what I can say so far: - I liked it a lot more than I would have thought. So glad I didn't watch it before season 2 aired. - I repeat: the animation is a work of art. Every episode has me in awe. - Jinx is *nothing* like I imagined (1/2)

I started watching arcane (all the jayvik fanart got me in the end!!) I'm only on ep 2 so I haven't formed a strong opinion yet but the animation is truly incredible mwah 🤌

Had a very productive afternoon of removing wallpaper in the living room. And the best part is that it was totally by accident; I hadn't planned to remove so much of it today but it was so easy that it would have foolish to stop (not to mention how satisfying it was)!! Love it for me 🤌

I wrote something for the first time in two months today! Granted it's only two sentences but it's two sentences that could lead somewhere after two months of feeling too poorly or too stressed by work and life to be inspired! Few words but important words! I'm very pleased!

I'm sharing this because I'm pleased with myself but I'm also incredibly frustrated with Duolingo for not updating the Scottish Gaelic course (there's still so much to learn!!!) so I don't know. It's a bittersweet milestone. (But still, yay! Good job, girl!)
