I think I’m projecting my own general dissatisfaction with life and fear over whether I’ll ever have any kind of successful livelihood *as* an artist (as in, making it my career) onto how individual pieces perform atp

Making art is all fun and games but if it doesn’t get over like 1k likes I immediately am like “Oh I should actually never draw again”. Like the compliments people give me mean a lot but they don’t really fully process in my mind, if something isn’t an overwhelming success I see it as a failure

Ugh chronic fatigue blows All I’ve done this week since my EEG scan is just sleep. I’ve been napping like half my day away and I feel like I don’t have the willpower to do anything 💀 I wanna draw but I feel like I’m fighting my body to make it move. It’s like having waking sleep paralysis

I still find it funny that my cast of OC’s contains several meticulously developed characters I’ve had for over ten years (that I should be devoting more attention to) and yet the one I’m devastatingly hyper fixated on rn is some fuckin guy I made in like 5 mins about two months ago

Not that I particularly put any celebrities on a pedestal or look up to them out of sincerity but it is depressing how almost every male celebrity I’ve been fond of has had allegations come out against them now (and the few who haven’t have been dead for a long time)
