Ohhh stumbled upon an old drawing I did of this guys human design. He’s got short hair here because this is more of his modern day look but I should take a shot at doing his human 80s self with the long hair

The problem with developing a story when you don’t have much life experience is you run the risk of all your characters kind of feeling like You in different fonts because you haven’t had much to draw upon other than whatever media/art you’re taking in

this one started off with me attempting to imitate Jesse’s style again and then devolved into something entirely different. the charcoal-y and scribbly-mess of it feels like Will’s handiwork

Steve’s art style, on the other hand… it’s uh, got its charms 🙂

Jesse’s probably good at drawing too but his art style would take me the better part of a day to try and faithfully recreate. Did my best ~20min attempt His is one of those more pencil heavy, detailed, realism kinda things. Lots of soft strokes from the pencil lead being angled to its side

once again trying to work out how I think Donnie’s own personal doodle style would look like. I feel like in another world where he was less miserable he could have potentially gotten into making comics. his brother has a knack for drawing too

I think he really marked a shift in how I develop characters? I think he’s the first one I ever hyperfixated on and got serious about developing in terms of in what was his childhood like, what are his motivations etc and giving him proper background instead of just an aesthetic + personality alone
