I guess Microslop's sloppiness now extends to their online activation platform. I had to activate a Win7 install and while I've had good experiences with their online activation portal, it was a bit buggy. It kept me in a sign in loop until I signed in the third or fourth time, and then it worked.

I'm becoming more inclined to daily drive vintage tech because of this whole AI nonsense. My daily iMac is 5 years old now, still works good, and even after Apple drops security updates three years from now, there probably will be an open-source browser that still keeps modern websites loading okay.

The biggest thing that keeps me from getting a Switch 2 isn't the high price. It's the fact I'd have to move on from this wonderful Switch Lite... the ACNH Aloha Edition! . I likely won't upgrade unless if there is a game I really want to play (and it aint StarFox) or if a Switch 2 Lite happens.

Sooo... about that StarFox game. Graphics look great, but why another remake of 64? Couldn't they just fix the issues with StarFox Zero (getting rid of gyro controls and fine tuning the story) and giving that a Deluxe release? . Shame that SF Zero will likely be relegated to being stuck on Wii U.

So I reported a scammy-looking ad on Facebook (one disguised as a "new message" notification) and they actually removed it? . IT'S A MIRACLE!!!

So it seems there is a new type of possible spam going around here. A random account will mention you, leading to a notification. In my situation, when checking it out, it lead to a post asking for donations. Given how often said account posts (like every few minutes), it seems to be a scam.

Just ordered the SNES versions of Mortal Kombat II and III this evening. While they do have more muffled sound than the Genesis versions, they look far better graphically. . Next up... a guide. Not an online guide. An actual book guide from the 90s. I'm going old school for this! 😊

Well, I had to pause my YT Premium subscription due to a tight end-of-month budget, so now I go on a YT sabbatical. I refuse to watch YT with all of it's insane amount of ads. . Yes, I know you can use an ad-blocker, but then you have to deal with Google trying to stop you from doing so.
