A PS1 JRPG-type game, but when there's a random battle instead of fighting to the death you play a game of tennis against the monsters. 🎾 You lose "health" when they score on you. Your doubles partner works like in Paper Mario. Some shot types are more/less effective against different enemies. Etc.

In the farm sim(?) I'll never make, one of the townsfolk is an off-kilter marine biologist inventor. One of her jobs involves an invention to speak with whales via translating whalesong. After you get it running you can use it to make a big whale friend who will eventually come visit the dock. [1/4]

In the farming sim I'll never make, you can raise lil slimes on your farm. They leave behind gelatin and syrups the way chickens leave eggs, which you can use to cook sweet treats. Different colors of slimes will be different flavors, even. (also you can give each one a forehead kiss if you like)
