The pool was packed on Wednesday lunchtime, but nicely quiet today. The showers not having hot water wasn’t an issue either.

This is political pantomime stuff, the UK equivalent of the European Parliament having to go to Strasbourg every month. Completely performative, with extra costs.

As pubs have been struggling I hope any pub with air conditioning has been offering 'work from the pub' with a power supply, wifi, and lunch for a reasonable fee. I know this became a thing at the end of the pandemic, but could do with reviving.

Looks like lots of people planned ahead for the heat today and joined the 6am run club. Never seen it so busy at that time.

Not sure this elderly driver was helping anyone at Putney Bridge this morning. I can. Only can guess they’re turned off left when they meant to go across the bridge, but blocking two lanes was a strange solution.
