Here’s why I haven’t posted a sketch in a while. This one took a while. Since I was doing so well with basic poses I decided to try something a bit more detailed. Not too bad but the lines got rougher

My characters are mostly empowered in the same ways, by fighting the oppression. It becomes self sustaining feedback loop. But Sana specifically gets power from her music and being with her friends. Which sounds very tweenie anime but in a more realistic way. #QueerWritersChat

Nope. Society is very science based. Religion is a thing of the past though the language is sometimes integrated into descriptions of modern ideas. There are instead types of supernatural. Ghosts, demons are programs that delete systems, angels repair systems, gods are the OS. #SFFchat

In #SkinDolls they live in a digital world and the afterlife is very much real. Nothing ever really gets deleted on a hard drive you know? Ghosts haunt the system. It’s still treated much as our afterlife is even though there is hard evidence and accepted knowledge of it.

I think Sana would like something chill with no pressure, possibly cute. Maybe an Animal Crossing game, or Stardew valley. So totally different to the story. It has a creepy, inescapable doom feeling. Kara would love something like Disco Elysium. Not too far away from her genre #awesomecharacters
