Finished up my competition entry dwarf slyer for Orange Brushes. Really enjoyed painting him. Grabbed the 2 mins this year without rain to get some daylight pics on the balcony

Built & primed some skaven for my personal aos & old world project (base extenders are great). Got the pdf printed from a Reddit thread that added cover art and even played a game vs @dratshammer.bsky.social Daemons of Chaos. We’re so back. It’s a good thing GW are cooking with new sylvaneth model and book, new LRL book and Eshin warscrolls coming up because everything else is quite hard these days isn’t it my word.

Good haul in Birmingham yesterday on my lunch break between running Shakespeare workshops at two schools. Visiting Warhammer, forbidden planet and element games then foyles at new street.

Started an Old World Wood Elf army. Mainly for nostalgia as used to play wood elves back at start of 7th edition. Was my second army after Lizardmen.

I probably should’ve read this years ago. My uncle recommended it when I was a teenager and my sister bought me the first book over a decade ago. Never quite piqued my interest and I’ve been off fiction for the longest time. But it’s simply beautiful writing. Worth the accidental wait.

Just a little reminder that this is what I do to pay the bills. I could always use another commission. My rates are reasonable and I have over a decade doing this as a full time job.
