Someone please explain to me exactly how Robertson was āinterferingā or āmaking a playā on the ball there. People step out of the way from offside position all the time and no call. He certainly was in no way impacting Donaruma. That goal should have stood.

Isak finishing like Darwin but without the pressing. (That was a double negative for those in the back). I know he should come around, but Iām not excited so farā¦.

Does Isak know how to press? Big contrast to Darwin in this regard. Could be his fitness is not there yet, but itās frustrating seeing him not even move toward the ball at timesā¦

Impressed with Kirkez today. His industry in the second half was a difference maker.

Wirtz looked strongest near the end of his time on the pitch. Turned a couple of guys, retained possession well in the later stages. Right in the mix on a couple of the missed late attempts. Signs of great things still to come š.

More teeth in the attack are showing, but feels like we did not control the defensive midfield as well with that one. These things could be interrelated though?

So when Burnley park the bus hard, itās a ābrilliant compact defensive web?ā Praise for their negative style of play that makes the game a bore to watch. Announcers drive me nuts sometimes.

Apparently an unpopular take, but I like what Iām seeing in defense today. New wingbacks super solid. Endo & Robbo more than competent performances at CB. Not looking at those two to start at CB in big games, but there is depth for emergency cover at CB. All without Virg for the day :-).

I know itās an odd take, but I think we lost the tie in the first game. That allowed PSGās confidence to grow, and kept them in it. More even first game by us and we would have romped them at Anfield the way we played today. JMHOā¦

Allison was immense, best game Iāve seen him play for us. Elliotās goal, taking nothing away from it, does not happen without Nunezās scrapping. Jones and Endo also very solid subs. Momentum changed with Jones coming in?
