Stunning #Cavs Game 7 performance. From the opening possessions they took the game right to the Pistons. They were the aggressor. Won the board battles and outworked Detroit. Allen w/ his second big Game 7 effort. Merrill tremendous. And Mitchell leads the way to finally reach a conference final.

The #Crew96 has zero identity, but this feels harsh. This was always gonna be a transitional year, and that’s before Abou Ali went out for the season. When you fire a coach you hired after 14 games, it says more about you than him.

Once again other Premier League teams doing for #LFC what they can’t do for themselves. Leeds scores in stoppage time with their only shot on goal to eliminate Brighton from a CL spot. Only Bournemouth can catch Liverpool. They face City on Tuesday.

#LFC epic collapse for a CL spot nearly complete. Do we really think they will beat Brentford on the final day? Their best hope probably involves Brighton dropping a point and Bournemouth losing Tuesday vs. City.

#LFC struggle to defend set pieces continues. Nothing like allowing the opponent’s most dangerous player time and space to curl in a shot. Nobody bothered to close down Rogers.

Here’s where I watched the final 30 minutes of an unbelievable #Cavs playoff comeback. The parking lot of Ray Ray’s in Granville. That’s a lovely bronze statue of a pig.

#Cavs even series thanks to one of the best non-LeBron playoff halves in franchise history. Mitchell and a rejuvenated Harden lead the way. Ball movement was sublime. Pistons were dozy. Cunningham not a factor. Now can the Cavs finally win a road playoff game?

Credit where it’s due, James Harden delivered in the clutch. #Cavs have a chance to make this a series on Monday. Mitchell (35 points) finally got a running mate at winning time.

A nervous, error-strewn effort against an opponent that had lost its last six PL games. This was the most winnable game among the last four & they were lucky to get a 1-1 draw. #LFC still need 2 points to secure a CL spot. Most likely will need the chasing pack to drop points. (1/2)

#Cavs were better, but it wasn’t enough to avoid an 0-2 hole. 3-point shooting the difference: Cavs 7 of 32; Pistons 14 of 28. Mitchell got his points, but was 2 of 9 behind the arc. Allen played well. Harden is killing them. Cunningham is a terrific all-around player. Clutch again at winning time.

#Cavs hung around, but it never felt like they’d win Game 1. Nineteen turnovers, including 7 from Harden. Strus can’t be your best player in second half and expect to steal a road playoff game. Cunningham & Duren were clutch at winning time. Pistons got to the line 35 times compared to 16 for Cavs

James Harden’s postseason futility, especially in deciding games, is well documented. He didn’t shoot well, but contributed in other ways. Got to the line repeatedly, grabbed six boards, and made three steals. #Cavs

As expected, #Cavs win Game 7. They dominated the second half as the Raptors faded. Jarrett Allen was awesome. Mitchell grew into the game. Strus, who’s lucky he wasn’t ejected for that head butt, and Merrill were good off the bench. Pistons a much different challenge.

Give the undermanned and undersized Raptors full credit. No Quickley for the entire series. Lost Ingram in Game 5. Barnes and Barrett were fearless. They just ran out of gas.

Jarrett Allen has taken lots of shit for his postseason pacificity. Some of it deserved. But he was a beast in a third quarter against the fading Raptors.

Hey, Tampa Bay Lightning, you’ve had a great run, but it’s over. Time to rebuild. Don’t make the same mistake as the Penguins and the Red Wings before them.

Try as they might, United could not gift-wrap a point to #LFC. United keeper’s only save of consequence was stopping an own goal off Liverpool’s only corner kick. Two horrific turnovers led to LFC goals. United woke up in time to score on a nice Mainoo goal. Scoreline flattered Liverpool

Given all the injuries, this was always gonna be a bit of a free hit for United, which is playing as well as I’ve seen them play in years. But #LFC totally flat. Frimpong the worst of a bad lot. Surprised Rio didn’t start. Very little emotion in game. Maybe it’s because it was over in 20 minutes.

All the Cavs needed to do was run out clock or force Raptors to foul them. They did neither. For second time in 3 games they got hounded into a turnover trying to get the ball over the timeline. Cavs probably win Game 7 only cause Raptors are shorthanded & look spent.

Raptors look out on their feet. Cavs have a chance to close out this series in OT.

Celtics will be favorites in Game 7, but amazing they have allowed the Sixers to climb off the mat. Now, concerns about Tatum’s health again.

That Orlando-sized boil on the Pistons’ ass is getting more painful.

That might be the dunk of the year. Duren is an excellent player, but he’s gonna see that Cain dunk on him for a long, long time.

Same old story for the post-season Cavs. Soft physically, soft mentally. Bullied by an undersized opponent that won a playoff game shooting 32 percent.

Cavs fans hoped “Playoff James Harden” was a thing of the past. He was excellent in Games 1&2, but 14 turnovers in the past six quarters is unacceptable. That was a dreadful half of basketball by both teams.

Helluva win for Wolves after losing Ant and DiVincenzo in first half.

#Crew96 with second consecutive MLS win. Early lead, no drama 2-0 victory over youthful Union. Max could have had a hat trick. Crew’s depth players were decent.

Excellent first half for #Crew96. Arftsten w/ early goal and Arfsten w/ cross that leads to 2-0 own goal. Sequence of first half stars Sekou Bangoura. He makes a fabulous tackle before pinging a diagonal pass to Arfsten on second goal.

So much scrutiny surrounding Isak & Wirtz, but in a game #LFC needed to give them breathing room, they delivered. Jones was excellent. Good for Robbo. When do they build the Freddie Woodman statue at Anfield?

After a Game 1 curb stomping, the Embiid-less Sixers have been surprisingly competitive.

Cavs were fortunate to stay in the game as long as they did with all those turnovers and an off night for every member of the Big 3. Harden w/ 8 TOs. Strus and Tyson were the bright spots. Game 4 Sunday.

Got a bit frantic in the final minutes, but #Crew96 hang on for a 2-1 win over the Galaxy. Lovely goals from Gazdag and Rossi on either side of the break. Zawadski relieved to see that late Galaxy attempt kiss off the crossbar after a poor clearing attempt.

Didn’t see the Atlanta game, so for me this is the best half of #Crew96 football of the season, capped by a clinical Gazdag finish.

Tyrese Maxey with two clutch 3s at winning time when it looked like the Celts were poised for a late-game run. Don’t expect Sixers to win series, but hope they can extend Boston as much as possible.

Fabulous night for #Cavs Big 3 as they take a 2-0 series lead. Never felt like the game was in jeopardary. Brandon Ingram woof. If Immanuel Quickley doesn’t get back, well, quickly, Raptors may not return to Cleveland.

The Orlando Magic aren’t a championship caliber team, but they can be a monumental pain in the ass to play against. Top-seeded Pistons better buckle up after losing Game 1.

Spent last 25 minutes of game just hoping for a draw. Most unexpected win of the #LFC season. Another player stretchered off. Another uninspiring shift from Wirtz & Isak. I’m not sure Konate wasn’t concussed. But they found a way at the death thru a VVD header. Payback for last game at Goodison (1/2

I don’t expect #LFC to get anything out of this game, but if they could it would help them take control of that final CL spot.

Perfect playoff opener for Cavs. Stars shined, role players did their job and Strus sparkled in the second half off the bench. Harden’s postseason struggles are well documented, but he was very good against the Raptors. Mitchell did Mitchell things. #LetEmKnow

#LFC fan in 2026: Up early to make sure Brentford drop points in race for final Champions League spot. Given their dreadful form, Liverpool gonna need lots of help to get over the line.
