I always hear all quiet on the western front being referenced in films and art and i knew an overview of it but i feel a need to actually read it. the emotional toll, trauma and stagnation might be just relatable a bit as starters to pick an immense war experience like that.

this was also to experiment with shadows because I put a version behind bars (two different shades) and tried a fantasy feel but once I did I abounded that style especially for the eyes, eh. she kinda swung between both Laura & Carmilla in this lol
