Hi all! For a brief intro, my name is Ian and I’m a PhD student in the Girguis lab in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology at Harvard. I’m a SoCal native and UCSD/SIO grad. Throughout my dissertation, I’m keen to study the evolution and ecological impacts of chemosynthetic symbioses in mollusks.
