I could never claim to have a monopoly on #ffxiv aethernet shard lamps, but I can't help feel a little ripped off by these which appeared on Etsy. I also think the 3D models were at least partly generated using AI. I know my lamp is more accurate, but they're US based with better marketing. #sigh

I got myself a #SnapmakerU1 (that I nicknamed "U WOT") which has 4 toolheads for quick (and less wasteful) multi-material printing, so I had to make a multicolour Benchy as the first print. #3dprinting

A few years back I modelled & 3D printed this Levequest card. Creating the 'stained glass' effect using a single colour printer involved manually swapping out FOURTEEN different filaments. I was always very happy with it, but it's too much hassle to make more. #3dprinting #ffxiv

When I did maths using a calculator as a kid & got something wrong, teachers would say the fault lies with me; a calculator is just a computer and only does what you tell it to. Now that AI is shoved everywhere, it's very possible to tell it to do something and the computer will simply be wrong.
