Asked David Adelman about DaRon Holmes II’s first two days of camp after the Nuggets kept the Brown/Strawther/Hardaway/Watson/Valanciunas second unit together for a second straight day. Here’s DA’s full answer:

Nikola Jokic did media after the Nuggets’ first training camp practice with a bag of ice wrapped around his right wrist. He said it’s the same issue he’s dealt with for a handful of years. Some days it’s fine, others a little more bothersome. He wasn’t concerned.

Christian Braun said he’s not frustrated a contract extension hasn’t gotten done yet. He says it will take care of itself in time.

"His release is really pretty. I want to shoot like that," Nikola Jokic says of Cam Johnson. Joker goes on to praise Cam's versatility.

Ben Tenzer and Jon Wallace haven't said a whole lot when asked about the Jonas Valanciunas situation, but the message is they expect him to be a member of the team this season.

I think we can consider the Bruce Brown signing official:

It's beneficial for the Nuggets to combine the Valanciunas-Saric trade and the Michael Porter Jr.-Cam Johnson trade into one transaction, so I wouldn't expect anything official on either front for a few days. Don't think there's any cause for concern.

For what it's worth, the Saric-Valanciunas trade hasn't been processed yet. Teams are still working through physicals/salary cap stuff. Nothing official between Valanciunas and the Nuggets can happen until the trade is official.

The Nuggets have informed Jonas Valanciunas' representatives that the franchise "fully intends to have him honor his contract," according to Shams Charania. There has been mutual interest between Valanciunas and Greek club Panathinaikos in recent days.
