Finally got the recent Mandarin Marvel Legends figure, and while the body is accurate for the Extremis storyline it's based on, it's a shame he didn't come with a more robed look. So trying a kit bash with the MCU Karl Mordo and Xu Wenwu Legends figures.

So an odd little find, but I found a Playmobil 5301 The Grande Mansion for a good price (only missing one dormer window). I've seen people use similar houses as diorama pieces for their X-Men Marvel Legends figures, and I've always wanted to give it a go. Let's hope the new paint works.

Final figure haul for the year. Slowly growing my dedicated displays of X-Men, Asgardians, Inhumans and Avengers. And the odd extra like Shredder. The Executioner wave was fairly eclectic, but fun to get a nice mix of lesser known characters. Already planning for the next wave of 2026 releases.

As the year is nearly over, it's been fun to look back on a few things. With a lot of support of Heretic (❤️), it's been fun to go to more drag and alt events, and work on different looks and outfits. Definitely want to keep doing this. Pics from Gladrags (top) and Camp Cryptid (bottom two).

People are alleging that Xavier will appear in #MarvelRivals as a support character. If true, it will likely be his Krakoa era. But this isn't the first time he's being playable. First in X-Men: Mutant Academy 2, then again in X-Men Legends and X-Men Legends II.

Being back in the office is making miss the fun from Gladrags Nottingham New Year's celebration.

From the top of my head, I would say Xena and Wonder Woman would resist. Ripley would be more Sam than Frodo. And Leia, Morrigan, and Kreia would embrace being dark lords to create their perceived well-ruled worlds.

Seeing Doom allied with Baron Zemo doesn't sit right with me. One of Marvel's two most famous Romani characters (Scarlet Witch being the other) allied with a Nazi. Just no. If anything Doom would kill Zemo, especially as he is now de facto ruling the world under the auspice of Sorcerer Supreme.
