Actually, this is the ideal form of scriptwriting. I only have to script 5 pages per day, it's so much less pressure than trying to get as much done as I can when I have the motivation.

There’s gotta be a word for when you’re swept up in the aching need to do so many things—go places, see people, do projects, make arts—but then the realization that you won’t be able to do *all* of them makes you too sad or tired, so instead you just don’t do any of them (or maybe that’s just adhd)

It’s really hard to try and build a life that will make you happy when 1. You have no idea what will make you happy 2. The thing you think you want is exTREMELY hard to break into (publishing)

The biggest thing i've learned as an artist who sells prints and merch is don't make what people ask for. They won't buy it. Make what you, the artist, want to see printed on the support of ur choice. I can't explain why but THAT'S what will sell. People who buy the most are the silent ones. 🫶

Your art isn’t bad just because it’s not selling right now. We’re in a recession and people don’t know when they’re gonna eat next, nobody can afford fun things because the economy is crumbling. It’s going to be hard a while.

If you’re a working artist talking to other creatives I’m begging you to not hide this. I have a parter who makes more and I don’t hide that and try to be as open as I can especially one on one. It’s cruel to not be honest with your fellow artist and give them any kind of false hope or fear
