Stupid devil's nap

I'm working through a fragrance sampler pack to see if any are my signature scent. Today I smell like old churches and woodsmoke.

Today's efforts are mostly focused on keeping the sticky up bits of my growing-out undercut under wraps (literally) so I don't look like I'm growing horns.

Mike went out to hunter gather last night (read: went to the excellent local chinese takeaway) so in his absence the lil songs I was singing to the cat became musicals and then when I ran out of musical songs that aren't too high pitched I just sang never trust a tory on repeat

The cat has been located and is hiding behind a bookcase. We are singing him little songs to try and calm his lil nerves that doesn't understand fireworks.

Neither @mikeharrisonwood.bsky.social nor I could get home before dark today and now the cat is missing. I need these buses to go a LOT faster so I can get home and find velvet thunder.
