Yes & no. There's @dianafisher1080.bsky.social's 2001 life-history database doi.org/10.1890/0012..., and we also developed parameter estimates for various marsupials (extinct & extant) here: doi.org/10.7554/eLif... (have a look at Appendix 2 in particular). But 'plug-in' values not straightforward

Non-traditional hours but that doesn't mean I expect others to do the same. I find I don't say 'no' a lot. Rather I say 'I AM SO EXCITED BY THIS IDEA! These are the days I can work on this with you.' The biggest problem I have is cross-over between roles. The boundary setting is harder, but..

I say "no." by saying "no" when needed I *become* a timelord. I don't set out of office messages. that's for people who are expected to be available all the time. anyone who expects this is bonkers. (as an old white dude I benefit from a lot of privilege when I do this...)
