My problem with TTRPGs that are crunchy as hell, is that if I wanted a rules heavy experience, I would play a tabletop game without the roleplay aspect. I want to tell stories with the rules serving as a narrative pusher, not hindering it by stopping to check if Scrungus can jump to the other side.

One of the interesting quirks of creative freelancing is you get to navigate a vast array of communication styles - Will the next person I work with be very formal and require boardroom pitch presentations, or will they communicate primarily in lizard GIFs? OR BOTH?
