I really gotta start on the add on parts, like the tail, head, and ears but oourghh I keep appreciating how good all these little details look

Here's a ton of detail shots within SL showing the mats in a few different ways. Some shots are just the normal and roughness map, some lower roughness making for good rim lighting. Then a look at the emissive and occlusion to bake in some lighting.

Rendered out some fancy shots, I can say I'm finally done with these materials. Not perfect by any means but I feel like I've finished what I set out to do with these body mats. Just gotta wrap up the add on bits and have a fully set up avi.

All the body mat stuff being tedious lately, took a day to experiment with some pbr eye textures. These are still a wip because I want to adjust the balance of a few things. Feeling pretty confident in making pbr textures, just time consuming until I don't need to experiment as much.

Still actually working on these pbr mats almost every moment I'm able, glad this is a personal project considering how long ago I started, but anyway here's a new wip of some pbr body mats on my pink cat.

I think one upside to taking absurdly long to progress my personal project of making pbr body textures has been learning stuff at kind of a natural pace. Like not being overloaded all at once. Each time I learn something new it helps complete a loop with all the work I've already done as well.

Every time I stumble upon my old halo 2 case it looks like a damn artifact dug up out of the ground.

Feeling like I've been making progress the last couple weeks towards motivation and energy. been really rough until I could put into words what was making me feel so sluggish. Constantly been adjusting my day to day schedule to help lessen some side effects and get myself into a better mindset 😮‍💨

This isn't going to be an all white build, but I did get the set of white fractal prisma fans I wanted to use with the white meshify 3 😌

spent my day fiddling with horrible sl shape sliders to give leon's head more of a fox look.

Going to be interesting using the Meshify 3 as a Torrent 2.0 case. Too bad fractal doesn't have a 180mm of their new set of fans. Though either way I probably don't need yet another set of case fans just to have white versions.

Another wip. Context wise I have lots of materials where I need to put them all together in a way that adds to the overall look. Most work now is adjustments. Shots are just the fur aspect I did, the markings and such. The diffuse and the materials, fourth pic is no diffuse to see just the mats.

Here's a little preview of the pbr stuff I've been working on for a long time now. I'm using the occlusion and roughness channels, and then my normal map. The body skin itself is from velour. Hoping I can put together some furry and anime skins for SL soon-ish 🙏

I keep procrastinating more than doing actual work, but one of my side ideas I fixated on today is what if Leon was on the Jake body instead of ebody. Briefs made by Snowash, and Leon's skin is a mod from the monochrome faux fox set made by Mad_Cow.

I think I've been cooking again the past couple days with my material sets. I had started over so many times with doing body fur for furry avatars. Like doing a Lot of work just to not like the end result. I think I finally have something I like now, and the right method for making more styles.

this vertical gpu mount was so damn hard to put in my tiny as hell case. everything is like a few millimeters from not fitting. the spacing is even worse when you use the fancy tilt feature but I Had to tilt it because the gpu power cable is directly under the cpu tower. Looks cool though 10/10 👍

damn dude, a bit worried about my combo of having a ryzen 7 9700x cpu in an ASRock motherboard lol. It's worked fine for 8 months now, and that's with 105w tdp and PBO on the whole time. Going to hope for smooth sailing still 🙏

been looking into aio and vertical gpu mount options for my computer just because tinkering with pc stuff together is fun but damn it's like information overload on making sure you get the right thing if you want a smooth install experience.

Figured I'd share this as I'm wrapping stuff up. If you're having trouble with seams, as in your normal map texture is seamless but you're still getting seams. It's the mesh itself causing it. Usually around alpha cut edges. I've found that overlaying nrm noise on your nrm texture mat helps a lot!
