I never realized how hard it would be to see the other person keep going. Like nothing happened.

I think the part that hurts the most about all this is the love. The love I still have. The love with nowhere to go anymore. I was born to love. To be affectionate. To be all over someone and dote on them like a big golden retriever. That’s gone now.

Today was rough, and laying down now, I’m still yearning. I realized that I don’t know what it’s like for him. To be on the other side of this. I’m mad, I’m upset, I’m despondent, but… I think I’m starting to get it, I guess. Why he needed to let go. Maybe I’m wrong. It’s lonely either way.
