Anyway I guess I will use some downtime to focus on completing the Trusted Tester program... I still think it's weird and funny the program falls under the department of homeland security. Though it's really weird how many departments just fall under that umbrella in general...

Yesterday was...intensely rough and one of the worst days I've had in the past 2 years. I don't feel too bad though because I must be doing something that makes employers at least interest to entertain the thought of interviewing me...hopefully get something nice soon in this new chapter.

Looks like from what I can gather Arch Linux AUR is currently playing a game of Wack-a-mole with a malware infestation. I don't Arch and or the AUR, but there might be some who do and aren't aware, so you might want to look more into it. Awful situation to be in, hope it gets resolved soon.

Feeling well rested and fully recovered now, so I'll start working on sketch commissions and projects again later today. All remaining sketches should be completed by end of next week, so keep an eye out!

Yesterday's medical procedure went well. I'm just going to rest for most of today, but probably doodle for myself a little here and there too. I'll resume freelance work tomorrow.

I remember wanting to try Destiny 2 and Warframe, but Destiny doesn't work on Linux. However Warframe apparently does, so I gave that a try today after my procedure and it runs smooth as heck.

Heya folks so one more update. Sketch commissions are still rolling out, but I have less confidence I can complete them all by June 10th. With everything going on, it slipped my mind that I have to prepare for a medical procedure that day so I will have to extend that to end of the week. 1/2

Looking in to how multiplayer implementation for Godot works. I have a kind of working base for a third person arena shooter at the moment...

Non-commercial Sketch commission finals will be rolling out throughout this week. All current clients should receive a final for approval by June end of day June 10th. For non-sketch commission clients you should receive thumbnails and invoices by June 5th.

This feels like a consistent theme with Bluesky though. Experimenting is good and encouraged, but there seems to be a lack of proper consideration for consequences and just a heavy focus on rapid deployment for the sake of it. Communication, Accessibility, UI/UX, and safety feel like afterthoughts.

I've always felt there is a beauty in the mundane and too many people take it for granted. Lately its bothered me a lot that Leechware is the justified with "frees up time doing mundane tasks". I view those things people call "mundane" as foundational and when that erodes, everything else does too.

There is nothing wrong with enjoying the visual and audible art of video games or specific genres of media, but if that is all you listen to you're missing out on A LOT. For artists especially, you may not feel it now but that will impact your work too. Because you will stagnate eventually...

I'm helping a couple of friends at the moment with making a simple static site gallery. I did put a simple gallery on github years ago, but would people be interested in a blank static site they could modify the code of and it would have instructions on how to host it on something cheap or free?
