The game grid is hard because I wanted to avoid slapping Oddworld into multiple categories lol. Also a lot of "tied for X" like retro is a toss up between rampage and blast corps.

Doing the grid thing for fun while I rest today... Did the pokemon one first. I had to omit bat pokemon because that'd be way too easy.

Nutritional yeast works well in a lot of things and I use often since I can't digest cheese well. Its great in tuna salad though because it makes it taste pretty close to a tuna melt without the melting cheese process.

I don't usually upload anything higher than 700x700 to the web so that's whatever... That said, I feel this fails accessibility as a carousel should have explicit clickable control indicators. This also mitigates the chance on phones for accidental triggering of edge swipe gestures.

I think I'd love a day or two where I am just spoiled and looked after, not having to do any chores, work, etc... and can just rest. Maybe some day... I hope everyone can experience that too.

I'm on Blacksky and don't use feeds much so I can't confirm this, BUT it sounds like that "Why" dev subscribed to that "AI Hater" list to block people and in turn any of those users who used a feed made by said dev now have lost access to that feed? Bluesky continues to deliver entertainment LOL. 🍿

I don't think I'm going to buy any 30 minute mission mechs again going forward. The Armored core kits were very underwhelming to me to build and I didn't like the finish either. I think they're nice starter kits for a novice maybe, but I feel like SNAA, and general Gunpla are better.

I can't relate to hating a process in art like inking, drawing, etc...For me the part I hate most about art is actually calling it "done", but it is a necessary step. It at least feels less abrupt when I think of it as a milestone in a larger creative journey. They are lessons learned for the next.

Had a great time working on this game again. I have a solid foundation now and want to take a break from programming to do art for a bit(little worn out between the 9-5 and this). Hopefully I can have something to show off for next week soon. (Screenshot Saturday still a thing?)

Sometimes reminded why I am rather picky with who I talk to about projects I am excited to be working on, because I don't think there is anything more off putting than being excited to do something you think is awesome and reception can be summarized as "meh, cool I guess".

One last thing on this specific to me as it usually comes up too. Yes, if we are mutuals(as in following each other) you are free to DM and or ask for other ways to chat and hang out. I am also generally(unless you're a jerk) open to giving advice and suggestions for website and Linux stuff to all.

Meh, not going to talk more about it, but friend asked how I can be chill with all of this and truth is the best advice is to have multiple ways people can reach you. Everyone who knows me and is my circle has a variety of ways they can connect with me if they need or want to.

Todays' random art advice no one asked for: It can be frustrating, because you may have put a lot of time and effort into a piece, but sometimes the best option is to start over rather than brute forcing your way to the "finish". On the bright side you now have a baseline if you want that idea.

Anyway, I'm sure folks aren't here to read my rantings about web and tech and to be honest making a thread of posts is an "irritating" lol. I will say it is cool that projects like phpbb, vbulletin, etc...are still going after all these years. They're still reliable options and that's cool.

Right now the idea that is in the lead is hosting a basic phpbb like forum as I have had a few friends express interest. If you've been on the internet as an artist long enough you probably remember places like the conceptartOrg(feeling old? lol). It would be a bit like that, but little modernized.

Should've marked that all as a rant, but it is random thoughts I have that are exasperated by the current and ongoing issues I have experienced with atproto as a whole. I luckily can't say I have ever had an issue with Mastodon(specifically Mastodon.art) in the 4 years I've been using it BUT...

The only thing really making me hesitant making a "social media" platform or even a forum(and yes I've called and sent letters to representatives) is that I'm one person and the legal burden of navigating allowing "NSFW" content is beyond me(or rather my wallet).

To be honest I don't think the average person cares about decentralization, how open source a thing is, etc... I feel like they and others would be perfectly fine with a platform that is stable, moderated decently, transparent about their choices, and isn't actively condescending to their user base.

I do find it amusing that the overall best way to determine blueskys status(which potentially can still effect other PDSs like Bkacksky to a degree) is to visit their bluesky status profile instead of the site so far. They have a notice up now, but the previous outage history seems absent.
