This is another game where Elijah Wilkinson has been mostly mistake free in pass pro and made some impressive run blocks. He deserves huge credit for bringing some solidity at right tackle

How Pitts fought through contact and won at the catch point while being held was so awesome. He’s becoming a legit weekly difference maker again

Penix has eight completions of 15+ yards. It feels like most of them have gone to London and Pitts. This is the Falcons offense booming at its peak

Kyle Pitts is a different individual this year

Mike Hughes was playing terrific until that touchdown. It looks like he panicked once Deebo started accelerating

I wonder if this is the first time Bijan, London, and Pitts have scored a touchdown in the same game

Lowering your shoulder into a fully accelerated Tyler Allgeier is going to get you face first on the ground questioning your life decisions

Ulbrich stays cooking with his pressures on third down. Awesome twist with Orhorhoro and Elliss to rattle Mariota. He keeps on finding ways to collapse the pocket

Xavier Watts range in coverage was one of his strengths coming into the league. Saw it all the way there on the pick

Wow Zac Robinson hit a home run with that play call. Created a bunch of traffic with multiple receivers targeting Bobby Wagner to get the ball to Bijan in space. Awesome play design, perfect execution

Falcons continue to be way too inconsistent on short yardage situations. Defenses are loading up and getting instant penetration through A and B gaps

Brandon Dorlus has got to have that sack. Hand usage was great to disengage and get the pressure. Just didn’t finish the clean look. Ended up costing the Falcons three points

Got to praise Lindstrom and Wilkinson on that TD run. They wiped out defenders to clear out space for Bijan to unleash his bag of tricks and bully his way into the end zone

The multiple jump cuts from Bijan with the power running through tackles is so damn good. Bijan’s vision and balance has been on full display

Penix was locked in throwing with anticipation and hitting his pass catchers in stride. Got to love the decisiveness in each pass on that drive to go with being back in sync with London

Penix’s issues being rigid in the pocket continues. He had space to navigate through the pocket. Instead he stood still and didn’t try to evade the pressure to make a clean throw. Big miss to Bijan

Bijan runs with such phenomenal pace man. He’s putting on a clinic right now

If the defense can get Mariota in 3rd and long, Ulbrich should be relentless unleashing his variety of blitzes. Mariota is prone to turning it over. Falcons just got to stop the run and make their open field tackles

I got a feeling Kyle Pitts could go off today. Commanders are slow in the middle of their defense. There are openings that should be exploited, especially down the seam. Pitts has looked a lot more explosive this year too.

Commanders are beat up offensively but they are fully healthy defensively and playing well. This will be a good test for Penix to see how well he is seeing the field, throwing with anticipation, and hitting his throws across the middle.

When you expected to wake up to a new Jeezy album and find out he’s not dropping it until Commanders-Falcons begins

The John Abraham story really hits hard. He’s my all-time favorite defensive player. Bought a red Abraham Falcons jersey before the 2008 season. I still got it. Wish his legendary career didn’t have so much devastating aspects to it. Glad he found peace and continues to do work in communities

Tremendous storytelling here. It’s remarkable how he played at an elite level for years despite all his struggles. Grateful he found the help he needed after suffering from the concussions and battles with addiction. Hope he stays on the right path and gets into the HOF.

What an impressive play this is from San Darnold. Pass pro melts down and there's a free rusher up the A-gap. He escapes the rush, scrambles away, and then delivers a great touch pass to JSN.

The blowout loss shouldn’t hide the fact that the defense played poorly. Minimal pressure was generated rushing four. Bowman and Watts had cov breakdowns that should have been punished for big plays. Run defense was all over the place with gap discipline and getting pushed around. It was rough.

Finished watching Falcons-Panthers film. Biggest red flags about Penix’s performance were his unwillingness to throw to the intermediate/deep area of the middle of the field and refusal to move in the pocket. He stood out like a statue consistently making bad decisions.

Dan Campbell might convince me to go eat at Applebees

John Morton and Kelvin Sheppard earned their stripes tonight. Teams don’t completely out coach the Ravens like this.

Wish Hutchinson got a lot more praise for the clean punch out than Henry got ripped for the fumble
