Ended up against my will discussing trans rights again recently. I pointed out that there was broad cross partisan support for trans inclusion only a decade ago, that Donald Trump and the leader of the UK conservative party were simultaneously endorsing trans inclusion measures but this closed...

...issue was ripped back open through 10 years and about $2bn of propaganda against trans people. People's imagination of the historical arc of progress and continuity means they forget how much consensus there was for trans gender self determination back in 2015.

I sat with a friend as they were interviewed for PIP. The experience left them shaken. Took hours to recover. Within a few months they were dead. I'm not linking one thing with the other, but why was this person subject to obvious cruelty when their doctors had already supplied evidence?
