I got my first 40k minis for christmas!

Still shopping around for a system to use for my Generational game. The hard part is that I want there to be enough crunch that there's stuff to inherit through generations, but not too much crunch that my players are just looking at boxes the whole time

How hard would it be to make additional species and callings for Break! hm....

Thinking about my Fire Emblem/Generational fantasy campaign idea more and I think something I might do is have the party recruit npcs ala FE, and each player can choose one to bring with the party.

I think generational mechanics in video games have a rep as "gooner's breeding mechanic" and an eugenics machine, but I think exploring generational storytelling in a micro scope instead of an analytical one could be fun! Think less of how this relationship affects the numbers and more about for you

I have been thinking about my next smaller projects though. I want to make a horror-fantasy rpg about abandoned mmos (a psuedo-sequel to my very first game, Are You Lost Traveller?) and also a solo epistolary game about being the last surviving member of an adventuring party

God I was sick for like half of October and it completely derailed my work on Despair (if it wasn't obvious by it missing its Halloween release) I'm now hoping that I can get it out on New Years but man its such a hit to my morale
