Driving in a roadster (Miata) on a sunny late summer day is such a treat. The wind ruffles through your hair, the scent of the beginning of autumn mingles with that of the car. The trees all around glow in colors ranging from green to yellow to brown. I love this time of the year so much.

Because I just read it: There's a study on progesterone and its effect on breast growth in #transgender women that supports the idea that progesterone might help. And suddenly this seems to be canon within the community, while all other studies are now ignored? That's not how science works.

#Eurofurence is over. It was intense - 80hrs of work was exhausting yet also rewarding. I have an incredible team around me, be it my "own" A&I-Team or the PPS. You are all amazing beans and I feel humbled by the work, dedication and sacrifices you have all put in to bring joy to other furs.

Speaking of periods - colleague of mine was talking about hers today and that 'us women have to go through a lot' and I was genuinely completely caught off-guard. Not her fault, but made me feel like a fraud a little bit. Other than that - kinda happy about the 'us'

Also yesterday I learned: there is a myth that women's periods can 'synchronize' with other women in their environment. The implicit lore of being able to subconsciously link parts of your body functions with other individuals is kinda neat tho. Gives me hive mind vibes.

Idk whether it's an expression of gender struggles in general but I really came to dislike that I have to modulate my voice in order to pass. I liked the training attached to achieving a passing voice and I like voice acting in general but I really like my og voice.

When this mess of a year is over, I want to write another book. On the new sofa or in the new bed with the fairy lights and the skylight above me, or under the roof, where there is also a window through which you can see the stars. Either way, I'll be cozy and tucked in.
