Interesting to see the 26-30 railcard described on their website as the “millennial railcard”. Given I’m at the tail-end of the generation and it’s the last year I can buy one: I wonder how long they’ll keep it that way.

This raised a chuckle as I read some old Hansard today: ‘I received no reply from the Secretary of State to my letter at the end of April on this subject apart from the kind of courteous holding reply which the office sends when it cannot make up its mind within a reasonable time’.

Greatful to have been awarded, with Yue Ang, an SLSA research grant to carry out a project looking at undergraduate students’ perspectives on degree design and the role of legal education in society!

I do enjoy being back home by the sea for the break.
