in addition to "discomfort does not equal harm" I wish people also realized that sometimes (actually, most of the time) if there's something uncomfortable in a narrative, it's supposed to be uncomfortable. yes, even if its "romanticized", the author usually trusts you understand it's uncanny.

FINALLY!! finished my first pair of socks. Had to undo the first sock and add a few rows but now it fits aswell and it was a good learning experience to not be afraid of frogging parts of the project. Now I'm ready to make more for family and friends lol unfortunately late for this years christmas 🤷‍♀️

If you are an artist struggling with a nagging discomfort or pain when you work. Stop. Go and get that shit checked out and start doing recommended, corrective exercises. It will not get better if you just push through. It will get worse and harder to correct. Please take care of yourself.

Watched the last 3 episodes of Arcane yesterday. It was so much fun. Admittedly, even with the pacing being a little off and the fact that some scenes could have used more breathing room, I believe this series is leagues better than the rest of the garbage that's being released out there lately.

Update on my knitting work: First sock is finally done, can't wait to make the other one!!! It was quite hard figuring out the length of the foot with the toe box but I think on the next pair of sock I'll figure it out. This one is slightly too small but I hope it'll loosen up as I wear them.
