A short excerpt from one of my old songs to wish you a happy new year and send you my best wishes. May it be generous enough to bring you health and love, a dash of humour, lots of laughter and, of course, a good dose of music, because life is a song.

Although it's highly unlikely, you may have missed the news that my new album was released on 24 December. It's called Heavy as Mercury, and as usual, eclecticism is the order of the day, with a bit of bossa nova, a dose of folk, a touch of blues, and a dash of rock.

The ninth track on this album is the most recently composed. It is an English adaptation of the song I wrote for Nathalie, 3 vies de chiens, which was released a month ago. Out of respect for her, and so that her song remains unique, I did not keep the arrangement from her version.

The song of the day originally dates back to 2007. At the time, Sucrepop had been releasing a new track on the first of every month for several years. It's a shame that social media didn't exist back then, it could have gone viral.

Another vinyl album unearthed from my basement. At one cover a day, I'll be busy for several months.

I finally decided to bring my vinyl records up from the basement, where they had been sleeping for over twenty years. Time and humidity had caused some of the sleeves to stick together a little, so I need to figure out how to handle them with as little damage as possible.

This ukulele recording marks the birth of my latest single, How You Say Goodbye. The chord loop and the idea for the melody, the heart of the track, are already there, albeit in embryonic form. The rhythm is much faster than on the final version, and there is no trace of the future lyrics.⬇️
