We did manage to stay up to watch the whole game last night and I am so pleased Carolina won it! Great to see Rod the Bod hoist the cup as a coach, and I'm very pleased for Taylor Hall. He's done so much bouncing around the league, good to see him come out on top.

I have a couple things on including a run, a conference, and a wedding anniversary.  So no Youtube, no Yakuza, and no Thursday TikTok. Singing and songwriting will take place at the usual times though, and I'll pop a replay up on Youtube at the usual Warble time. #music

We had a really nice time at the mall and the He-Man movie (which I knew nothing about because I refuse to watch trailers for movies I plan to see) went way beyond expectations. It's like they said: What would Kyla enjoy? And then did that.

A question about GPS. When it tells you to keep left, does it just mean...stay on the road? Looking up driving instructions for tomorrow, mainly I just need to know an exit number. I notice the instructions then say 'keep left' followed by 'turn right' (1 of 2)

Well, my team is out. They lost 4 games straight to the team that has got to the final by winning 4 games straight 3 times in a row. It was a pretty awesome run. Will now be jumping whole hog on the Carolina bandwagon cuz A: Rod the Bod <3 and B: the ick in Vegas.

Because I'm not quite right in the head, I've begun training for the Cape to Cabot run in October. Because I still have a few marbles left, (and not at all because registration hasn't opened yet) I'm gonna wait a little before committing. But I'm a week in and feeling good.

My ergonomic keyboard has made it all the way from BC to the package sorting facility in Dieppe. Where as far as anyone can tell, there is exactly one employee, who handles everything for the entire east coast.

Since the Habs start every game by giving up a goal in the first couple minutes, then not getting any shots on net, and then starting every second period on a penalty, and still somehow winning the right amount of games...I find myself less stressed by today's game. #goHabsGo

Watching a piece on the Victoire winning the Walter. Pleased to hear Caroline Ouellette talk about winning the Clarkson in the same building (I was there!) I've been annoyed that the broadcasters will talk about players past victories in the world/Olympics etc, but no mention of CHWL and NWHL wins.

Carolina's fans all left the building early. Like, nearly all of them. B'ys, I know you're traumatized by the 3rd round exits, but this is the first game they've lost all playoffs.

Alright! Now on to da hockey! The team than hasn't lost a game these playoffs, versus the team that's played as many games as it's possible to play thus far in the playoffs.

My husband has one very important meeting a week. Today I: Walked into his office half-naked 2 minutes before the start. Left the egg cooker running while I took a shower so he had to respond to the very loud alarm. Smashed a jar of olives, yelled loudly, and ran the vacuum cleaner. He: Wtf honey?

So, Youtube gives me a list of other videos that my viewers watch, and unsurprisingly, it is a total mishmash of music from various genres. Anyway, I'm totally digging this Thievery Corporation album that tops the list.
