So, Youtube gives me a list of other videos that my viewers watch, and unsurprisingly, it is a total mishmash of music from various genres. Anyway, I'm totally digging this Thievery Corporation album that tops the list.

We are having another beautiful day, so we went for a drive and passed a golf course and it was hoppin! We thought we might go for a little stroll at Father Duffy's Well, but, well, I guess those high winds we had this winter have effectively closed the trail.

Because Sportsnet sucks so much, we decided to watch the playoffs in french this year and subscribed to TVA+. So far, their app works 100 times better than Sportsnet's ever did, and since they aren't based in Ontario, there are no gambling ads. Highly recommend.

There are no NHL games on Friday April 10th, so I wondered what all the stadiums have scheduled instead, so now I am visiting the events pages of 32 stadiums to find out. So far it's a lot of basketball, a couple concerts, a few nothings, one AHL game, and in our nation's capital, a lacrosse game.

Oh! Scott Oake is retiring next week! (He's on the hockey broadcasts) He's long been one of my favourites and I'm going to miss him terribly. I often fondly remember him trying to reassure Ryan O'Reilly that it's okay he was so excited about winning the Stanley Cup that he swore on national TV.

I've been wanting to get outside and do a new photo shoot for all my social media profiles etc since it's spring and I've got fall imagery up...but it's not spring. It's very much still winter.

Both the Victoire and the Habs have clinched playoff spots in their respective leagues this weekend! I didn't expect anything less from the Victoire and will be rooting for a cup win. (A Boston/Montreal final would be fun!) I'm stoked to see the Habs run and will be rooting for them to go deep.

Alcohol tax is going up tomorrow. Hopefully my mom remembers she doesn't drink much anymore. Last time alcohol tax went up she went out the day before and stocked up, forgetting that she hardly drinks anymore. She informed me (who doesn't drink at all) that I might inherit it all...

The Habs are playing the Devils tonight. Each team has a Newfoundlander. (There's like 3 in the league, so that's a little unusual) The Habs are my team, but our local boy plays for the Devils and he just scored so we did cheer for that. Habs are still ahead though!

We've got our federal conservative guy trying to cancel a plan for high speed rail (in an area where the existing slow speed rail is always packed) and I'm just so confused about that attitude that they expect drivers have. If everyone's taking the train, I get the highway to myself!
