Does anyone know of any indie book/fantasy/sci-fi book conventions around the gold coast/brisbane Australia in 2025? I'd love to go buy a heap of indie books.

Probably comes in as my least favourite of the series so far, but by the end everything came together and I was loving it once again. I suspect a lot of the things I would complain about here are necessary evils to be able to set up the rest of the story. Will have to pick up Dark Age soon! πππͺ

My slowest reading month in years, with health issues and the new puppy basically entirely stopping me for a few weeks. I started Book 2 of the Wheel of time on January 31st and finished it on March 1st. Everyone who said it was even better than the first was right. Phenomenal read! πππͺ

Saw the new collected editions of the

knocking it out of the park with shipping again. The packages have to get all the way to Australia and some of them, like today's, get a bit. Beaten up. But the book itself is in pristine condition, dispute Auspost using the box as a football.
