A large helicopter has been circling over the Portland ICE facility for around 2hrs. People on the ground suspect it’s military. One person said they took video in the daylight and it’s blacked out with no info on it. Another person’s air traffic map was blank over the facility.

I actually don’t think we should victim blame protestors for what the feds are going to do. We’ve seen them do it to perfectly peaceful protestors. People need to be wise, use discretion, and center those most impacted, and I truly detest this rhetoric.

Power doesn't panic.

I wish I had the words to make people see me as human. To break past the dehumanization. The words that would make everyone understand if they just heard them. I keep imagining there’s some magic arrangement of words I know that could do it - even as I know I can’t. I just got to try and hope.

The fact that Matthew Dowd lost his job for pointing out Charlie Kirk’s hate speech, while Brian Kilmeade openly suggests we should euthanize the homeless and there is zero outrage, shows exactly what is terribly wrong with today’s political mainstream media.

“There is no place for political violence in this country” say the politicians using legislation and rhetoric to attack trans people, immigrants, women and BIPOC daily. Just because it’s done with a pen and not a gun doesn’t mean it’s not political violence. Hypocrites. Not that they care.
