Ok, so far, bonus points for this ep. I love the Ataru/Lum dynamic. It's still them, but they're not THAT antagonistic to each other. Meanwhile, the Pool Goblin is still looking at couples with envy...and the ghost cat see's Lum's device is a fish. #UruseiYatsura

Well, when Ataru offered to put lotion on a woman about to tan, Lum's device knocks him back in the pool as it turns out he can't get out UNTIL he hits the 200 meeters. Sometimes I wonder if she loves accidents. #UruseiYatsura

I'd like to know how the hell the ghost cat and the principal got so damn chummy. #UruseiYatsura

Lum has an idea to get Ten to wear something that'll make him go backwards to swim...only to slip and hit it on Ataru...and it's on until he swims 200 meters. So...he decides the goal is to play tag with random women to GET to 200 meters. #UruseiYatsura

And now the montage of everyone...including the ghost cat and the principal...having fun in the sun before the pool goblin shows up. #UruseiYatsura

We open with Mendou giving everybody a tour of the family water park that's housing tourists (More importantly for Ataru, women)...only Ataru and Ten weren't invited. Ten's hiding from Lum as she has...unique ways of teaching Ten how to swim (Dumbells included) #UruseiYatsura

It's your average #UruseiYatsura ep, the only thing really going for it is the animation team brought it's A game from the littlest of details like Ataru bleeding going up the stairs to how Lum looks like the version that's usually used in references and pop culture.

Lum is so (Rightfully) pissed off that she wrecks the school...only for the reveal to be that, yep, Japan has the ghost woman all along. #UruseiYatsura

It turns out Ataru was NOT hypnotized as the sister forgot to put nutmeg in the hypno powder and was pretending all along just so he can grab some tail. Between this, Sonic, and Ray, I feel like it's asshole week. #UruseiYatsura #SonicX #Beyblade

...Ataru is acting like a dog...and the girls are into it... Look, I don't wanna kink shame, you do you, you ain't hurting no--- MY EYES, DEAR GOD IN HEAVEN MY EYES! Yeah, it's a form of hypnosis. #UruseiYatsura

Yeah, it turns out, much like Takashi would do with Kodachi later, Mendou's sister has minions that help her with her goals and will knock everybody else out to get Ataru. ...Kodachi maybe psychotic, but at least she has standards... #UruseiYatsura

With all options exhausted (And Mendou wanting to see this all women paradise), the gang decide to follow Ataru where ever he's hovering to. I know what's coming (Look at the title), but I wouldn't mind if the gag was another vice, his appetite. #UruseiYatsura

"I want to go to paradise!" I dunno...I'm kinda iffy whenever Ataru calls being surrounded by women paradise after Beautiful Dreamer, mainly because to me it makes sense that while his fantasy is having all the women, it's not a TRUE goal/dream without Lum. #UruseiYatsura

Ok, that little detail of Ataru bleeding as he's being smacked up the staircase shouldn't make me smile, but it shows how much effort this ep was put in. #UruseiYatsura

It looks like Mendou is keeping track of Ataru as it turns out this whole mess is causing a rift between Ataru and Lum and, well, Mendou wouldn't be Mendou if he didn't take advantage. #UruseiYatsura

Night 3 and they're so desperate that they hired Cherry to try to put a charm on Ataru...only they argue about the fee and YOINK! #UruseiYatsura

Lum tries to leesh Ataru, who looks happy to be taken (Look at the ep's title and ask why again), only to no avail. So, night 2 and this time he's got horse reigns...only to swap out for Ten just before Lum uses her shock. Oh. Darn. Darn Ten. #UruseiYatsura

Sure, it's a LOT easier today thanks to the internet, and us oldtaku already had a few steps BEYOND passing interest in Japanese culture where we either rolled with it because another culture...or we got so interested in it, we ate up research about it. #UruseiYatsura

"I thought you said it was just a story!" I gotta mention this, one of the things some people have said about anime during the 90's boom and why they couldn't get into it is for everyone that was easy TO get into (Pure sci-fi, fantasy, kids), there's one... #UruseiYatsura

Lum searches for Ataru to see if he's gone THAT far (Breaking into the female cast member's bedroom at night) but didn't find him until the next day where he's been in his room the whole time...looking dazed, confused, and drained. #UruseiYatsura

Ataru gets himself a soda by himself and that's when it looks like the story may not be THAT far off of fiction as a lantern hovers right in front of the guy. Actually, considering how chummy he is with Lum, I wanna see where this goes. #UruseiYatsura

So, they call a monk and put the charms up...only it turns out this guy's stronger than the actual Ataru because he actually refuses to take 'em down when she showed back up again! And just one more night and everything'll be fine! Oh, hey, birds are chirping! #UruseiYatsura

It turns out, when the two meet, it's by lantern...and the guy's life (Re: Vitality) drains with each meeting. This is when a worried neighbor decides to check things out. Yeah, turns out, the girl's kinda sorta...dead... #UruseiYatsura

It turns out past Ataru (I'm calling him that due to the joke) bumps into a woman and they both got smitten...problem is during that time period, there'd be a LOT of gossip and tea spilling, so they had to meet in secret...at the witching hour. #UruseiYatsura

We open with the story of a man who lived in a region in Japan 300 years ago...annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd he looks like Ataru, so I think we all know what's coming. #UruseiYatsura

I'll admit, this gave BEGA more depth than you'd think even a kids' toy centric anime would. I'm a sucker for anything that gives characters, even bad guys, humanity and it's nice to see BEGA be more than ego or villainy. #Beyblade #BeybladeGRevolution

It turns out Brooklyn was LITERALY born to Beyblade as he's never practiced, but was able to destroy a rock and give Garland a run for his money. Meanwhile, Char...I mean Char...I mean Char...I mean Hiro and Kai talk, agreeing something's up with Brooklyn. #BeybladeGRevolution
