Finally took some time to do multiple things that had been waiting for _way_ too long. - I now have a post that you can like to be unlabeled automatically! Please don't test it for me if you don't want to lose your label 😅 - Labels are being applied again (slowly)!

If you have been labeled and would like your label removed please like this post and it should be taken care of automatically (feel free to unlike it after)! If your label isn't removed within a few hours reply in this thread and I can take care of it manually 🙂

I have to take a short break from handling new accounts. My system for tracking who has been labeled already hasn't scaled particularly well with the recent load, so I need to redesign it a bit. I'll get to it this week sometime 🙃

Now that labels have been caught up for a bit, I want to give a shout out to @ryannorth.ca, @davidmalki.com , and Matthew Bennardo (not on bsky I don't think) whose 2010 short story anthology was a big source of inspiration for this project ♥

I don't want to jinx anything, but I _think_ the appview has caught up with all of the labels now!

Made a few small changes this morning based on some suggestions from @wendysparrow.bsky.social - Several new labels have been added - Toilet (Dehydration) has been removed, people previously assigned this death have pulled new ones. - Some deaths have had descriptions added

Some extra data, a labeler leaderboard if you will. There are over 10 million labels applied on the network.

Just a reminder that the bluesky appview is still catching up with all of the applied labels. My napkin math estimates ~2 weeks until that catch up is complete. If you're still waiting on a label (or a label removal) sit tight, it'll catch up Soon™️

Fates have been prophecised for all ~1.5M users who have been active in the past month or so, but it may still take a while for all labels to be reflected in the frontend
