I'm almost done on the little brooch like thing on his shoe as well! I 3d printed it, painted it, and made a mold of the gem so I could resin cast it. My first attempt I don't love so I'm trying again for the gem. The 3d file is from @dishycrafts.bsky.social

Also, I’ve added Him to the cosplan list. I was already working on the pattern for older Vander’s jacket and bought fabric for the trousers. Might as well make this shirt and the weird crop top jacket too, I guess? Just having to buy two wigs will hurt me the most 🥲

Daddy Daycare is tiring work

If you cut out pattern pieces without the seam allowance and mark the stitch line, it’s easier to sew seams more precisely, and much less effort to match any patterns across seams (Plus you can add extra seam allowance when cutting out so you can make adjustments to fit later if needed)

You can "interface" ballon shaped trousers or sleeves with at least two layers of rigid netting for extra poofyness without needing to stuff them with wadding. It looks less heavy and more natural ✨ Remember to put a lining too so the netting doesn't itch ♥️

Sewing some parts of your costume by hand will greatly improve the quality of your costume. Don’t force your garment under your seeing machine when it can be done neater by hand!!!
