As happy as I am to see this, I was hoping we'll get Gens 1 and 2 first. I just love the idea of using the pokemon bank feature to transfer Pokemon from the oldest games to the newest installments. Plus they put Crystal there, I imagine all the folks who will go for Shiny Celebi all over again.

4 games that defined my 2025.

Titanfall 2 is one of the best First Person Shooters I have ever played in my life. Vince has been responsible to many classics and he will be missed. My condolences to his friends and family. ❤️

I beat Metroid Prime 4 a couple nights ago. 100% items, it took 16 hours and change. It did weird things to my brain, and I needed to write about it. So enjoy this unplanned meditation on the fourth Metroid Prime game. Please repost and share it around :)

Tekken is my favorite fighting game franchise of all time, with Tekken 5 being in my top 10 games ever. Harada-san did so much for the franchise and it was a major honor seeing him in passing back in Comic-Con 2012. Wish him all the best in his new life chapter ❤️

Mortal Kombat was one of my favorite movies growing up. Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa's Shang Tsung is a major reason why the movie still holds up. It's even more amazing he returned to the role in Mortal Kombat 11 almost 25 years later. R.I.P Tagawa-san, and no matter what your soul is a part of all of us!

Happy 20th Xbox 360! Might as well bring a video I did for its 10th anniversary a decade ago. A lot of my choices are either changed or dated since some games have become multi-platform. Still besides not putting Amped 3 there or placing Lost Odyssey MUCH higher, I still have nostalgia for this vid.

If it is true, it will be 5 years since the supposed January 2021 of the original iteration of the remake.

I was expecting Kirby Air Riders to do so well critically, but the scores ended up more lukewarm than I thought. That being said, it's MUCH better than what the original received back in 2003. Not much of a comparison since we had 22 years of advancement in the medium but still. Food for thought.

My favorite part about the Game Awards nominees is finding out that Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is, in fact, an indie game. That means it is officially my favorite now and poor Balatro has been usurped in only a year.

I'm not a PC gamer, but when @nitrorad.bsky.social posted his Top 10 video from 2023, it made me want a Steam Deck. The appeal of playing the PC games and mods without fussing with hardware was an amazing prospect. I was never a handheld guy so the Steam Machine for me looks like a perfect solution.

Can't wait for the internet to blow a gasket over the casting of Brie Larson.

I don't post on my socials often anymore, but I wanted to give a special shoutout to #Expedition33. Not only I think it's a GOTY contender, it is one of the best games I have ever played. Days after beating it I still think about the emotional impact it had on me. Favorite RPG since FFX. A must own.

The Playstation 2 turned 25 yesterday. These 4 games are some of my favorite from that console.

Saros Crimson Desert NIOH 3!!!!! Wolverine Tekken 3 and Soul Calibur 3 coming to PS Classics 2025 has been the best year for state of plays and this one was absolutely stellar. 2026 looks amazing already.

My biggest question is whether or not we are going to get a PS5 physical edition. Considering the Switch 2 got one, I do hope we have at least one version of the game that is on physical media in a proper way.

This probably was the best #stateofplay yet. The variety of games alone more than made up for the "one more thing" style of announcement. Finally done with FF7 Rebirth after 100 hours. Game is great, but I have never been so overwhelmed by a myriad of emotions. This game does a lot. Not all of it works, some even fail hard, but I applaud Square for throwing a bazillion darts and hoping some will stick. Also dated Tifa so 10/10.

6th time on this podcast talking about the games of 2024. And by that I mean mostly Balatro.🃏

Kind of upsetting when the dates of availability are right there and yet one of the versions sells out in a day. This is like the dark ages of LRG where you had to wake up at 7am and get one of 2000 copies of a Jak and Daxter CE. I do hope they manufacture some extras because this is a letdown.
