Last night, the Berkeley City Council had the great honor of recognizing Tom Brougham and Barry Warren for their tireless advocacy for LGBTQIA+ rights. Because of their persistence and courage, Berkeley became the first city in California, in 1984, to adopt a domestic partnership policy.
