Herman has been my work assistant for over 2 years. But there is this new guy, Patches, that's really been stepping up. So I think next Friday, we will have a retirement party for Herman. He was a good assistant, I look forward to him having some "me" time!

The merit badges were such a fantastic idea btw. I really hope that they keep that. Every con should be doing this, regardless of what their theme is. I found myself participating in the con in a way I would never typically do at a normal convention. 10/10 idea. Gold Star to whoever came up with it

I have a bunch of coworkers who know I go to furry conventions, but that's the extent of it. They are genuinely happy for me, and one just said "can't wait to hear about it when you are back in office tomorrow!" & I am going to have to write a secondary evaluation for those I can't openly gush to XD

Wehhhhh plane landed and just parked not moving for 20 minutes x.x

Landed in Philly, we home safe! Gonna sleep for several hours and probably write something up. Buh.

Also. Gosh. Patches. He’s everywhere and then some. 125 came with us. 950 attendees. 1:8. 1 in 8 people went home with a Patches this con. I keep saying he’s everybody’s imaginary friend and gosh do I mean it. But seeing him with EVERYBODY? Gosh.

As you are all slowly trickling out of BFC and back to "real life", remember that every day can be BFC if you choose to make it so. Nothing is stopping you from going back to diapers, or getting yourself a pacifier, or wearing cute toddlercore clothes. It's your life!

It’s going to take me far too long to say the thanks the space deserves. For now? Remember that this con was such an excellent “excuse” to act with kindness and joy first. If we take home anything, beyond the shirts and merit badges and memories, let’s take home letting joy and kindness drive us.
