By RAW, a playable MU can have a INT 3 (-3). A common use of the INT bonus is increasing the number of 1st-level spells a MU starts with in accordance to the bonus. But what if the INT bonus represents the highest level of spells an MU can cast while in gambeson (AC12)? Just a little extra padding!

Very nice examples of what “Special Rooms” are in a dungeon. And I think we talk about in the Designing Dungeons document, Special Rooms are a great way to increase dungeon longevity. So very nice in a hexcrawl to have your dungeons have these sorts of room- they are a reason to revisit.
