January 1 is a calendar reset. The Chinese New Year begins February 17, 2026. That is when the Year of the Horse actually starts. Horse energy is movement, stamina, momentum. Not chaos. Not burnout. Sustained forward motion. You still have time to choose how you want to move this year.

Most people fail in January because they try to overhaul their identity. Do less. Walk more. Notice where you tighten for no reason. Taoist practice is subtraction, not ambition.
