I would have loved to keep every Mythic Carpathia vaesen on single spreads, but it was impossible. When just the text for a vaesen fills two pages, there is *no way* for me to fit the text *and* the image on one spread. 1/2

It always makes me happy when my layout work is appreciated.

People are finally receiving their Realms of the Three Rings/Keepers of the Elven-rings books – and a lot of them point out how gorgeous they look. And they do! The art is maybe the best I have ever seen in a TTRPG (❤️ that Galadriel cover). And, if I dare say so, my layout is not too shabby either.

Spring has finally arrived in Stockholm! Today I found the year’s first bumblebee in my garden. A buff-tailed bumblebee (Bombus terrestris) queen.

So, I did the graphic design, layout, and prepress for what may very well be the tiniest TTRPG in existence. The Keyring RPG, second edition, conceived, written, and translated by @devilkitten.bsky.social. More pictures in the comments.

I designed a new logo for the band I’m in. Here as a vinyl application on my bass drum. (We needed to add ‘Stockholm Soul’ because other bands have tried to claim the name. But we’ve been playing under this nome de plume for fifteen years now.)

I can finally show these two books I’ve laid out. Realms of the Three Rings for The One Ring RPG, and the corresponding Keepers of the Elven-rings for The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying. The art in these books are amazing! Just look at that Galadriel cover by Antonio De Luca.

My Year in Layout: All the stuff I’ve laid out and sent to print during 2024 (so far). A thread. First out are two books for Ruins of Symbaroum (from Free League) that I finished i January. One is a setting book and one contains the first two parts of a campaign.

Exactly ten years ago, to the day, I was accompanying Free League Publishing to Dragonmeet in London, where they would release their first English TTRPG. Mutant: Year Zero, co-published with Modiphius, would earn Free League their first ENnie, and place them on the international TTRPG map. 1/2

Now THIS is how I like to be mentioned in a review. (I’m only slightly blushing.)

While I haven’t posted much here, I can assure you that I’ve been busy working in the layout mine. I have laid out two adventures for The Troubleshooters RPG, one for Symbaroum, a book about the Swedish RPG industry, and an upcoming book for The One Ring RPG (not sure if I can show that one yet).
