Cutting Transmog costs in half just about solves most concerns. But I'd also like to introduce the idea of "Transmog tokens" now that costs are fixed regardless of level. These'd come mostly from leveling milestones for new chars, otherwise occasionally given from casual content

It's cause I have a somewhat unique POV in this space, but I no longer think a full import/export option is good for housing, exception being to backup our own builds. Seeing a cookie-cutter home/room/complex decor feels antiethical to Housing's goal of personal expression.

Adding to this, not wowhead-specific but on the general 3rd party access: It's one thing to look at a build and emulate, it's another IF gamers can basically rip someone's exact build 1:1 without their permission. I'd safely argue this isn't like taking someone's talents/mog, more like stealing art.

Mixed on Wowhead's (powerful and cool) housing tool: - Ppl use the privacy filters for a reason. Bypassing that with the tool feels like a nono but that's on Blizz to fix. - As a cosmetic only feature, this replaces Housing, making the tool "fun" and the real thing a grind.🧵

I've been pretty conservative with housing testing cause I wanted to save all my energy for live. I'm sort of frightened over how much I'll want to put into just one room (the cafe) but this'll be such a fun journey!

Huge improvements! Two things: 1. Does the 80% reduction apply to the currently existing 20 slots, or the grand total of 50? 2. I feel the initial setup cost per outfit slot should still be waived for at least the two free slots, ideally all unlocked slots.

Wanna put this thought in your guys' heads: Guild/Private neighborhoods include both the Horde and Alliance neighborhoods so 100 plots. Doesn't solve every problem but covers most of em.

Based on testing I'm led to believe when the 12.0 patch drops, everyone's transmog will be undone and they'll have to pay to get their old look back. Which 100% reinforces my feedback the cost of setting up an Outfit slot for the first time should be free.

I enjoy reading the discussions and responses, but I also feel sorry for the folks who have strong emotional attachments to weekly beta builds. It must be exhausting! I at least get paid (a little) for covering it

The BFA meta decor takes far, far longer to get a copy for than the SL decor. And no I'm not suggesting the SL decor take longer to farm

Regardless of where they land on the pricing, I think it'd be a great idea for the "first time" setup of an outfit to have no cost to it. Helps to dull the initial impact and make gamers think carefully on which of their outfits are worthy of the slot.

Not the most elegant idea I can think of, but it'd be funny to choose a "Laundry Day" each week when editing Transmog is half off

Slot unlocks are account wide which is...whoop dee doo. The real cost is the day to day, which is what really needs to be addressed more.

Transmog costs are a present conversation but I wanna demonstrate a bit of the actual feature cause outfits/situations are remarkably powerful. Here's my character outside, all mog slots saved to an outfit and paid for. Appearances are locked even if I change gear.
