I'm very excited to properly try out player housing. Due to my own prioritizing of work before pleasure, I was only able to place 2 decor items in my house so far (1 of which can't be removed). I'm hoping to get some actual decorating in next week as tomorrow is almost planned to the brim already.

Got into Alpha overnight, but so far I've only been busy with figuring out sources for decor. One interesting source is a quest that the ethereal in the neighborhood hub offers that sends you on a treasure hunt on the island for a certain decor item based on hints he gives. Love stuff like that.

Minimap site is updated! map.wow.tools Eastern Kingdoms still largely keeps its well known shape if you don't count the currently unnamed island (part of the Zul'aman zone?). Wonder if that's why they decided to separate it like that. Very interesting!

I'm excited for what kind of new tech we'll be seeing sneak its way into the game in Midnight and TLT. Blizzard has a tendency to slowly introduce new things into the mix and so far TWW hasn't been any different. There's already a few pointers to what we might see in player housing's future, too.

Dutch PM is worried about the escalating polarization and isn't sure how to solve it outside of promoting dialog, but I think the only cases where dialog has worked for me personally is only through IRL conversations. I'm feeling like such dialog isn't as effective online anymore, which sucks.

I've promised myself not to pre-order the wireless SteamOS VR headset that Valve will likely announce very soon. Not only do I not have the income for it to be a responsible purchase, but I feel like my PC/Valve Index is still just fine. I'm sure it'll have a ton of fancy new features, but still no.

Wow, they really nailed Dexter: Resurrection. Bravo. If this were the overall ending I'd be absolutely fine with it. It did however get renewed for another season, so hopefully they keep this quality going in season 2.

Personal post; I have been keeping a journal starting from mom's diagnosis. Since the calm moments of thought/reflection come to me at ungodly hours, it has helped to have something to 'talk to', I think it has kept me on the rails. Can't recommend journaling enough, especially for stuff like this.

Blizzard modernized the movepad accessibility feature a bit in today's build. There's a (I believe) new setting to not make it behave in the sticky way it does on Retail right now, so it only moves when you hold one of the buttons. Love seeing tiny updates like that!
