Another day waking up from a dream about death. Half the time it's not even about mom but someone/something else that hasn't died, and mom is usually still alive in these dreams. Think I finally fixed a decade old bug at work today. Time will tell, but I'm hopeful this has now been squashed. We're very slowly getting through the massive list of similarly old bugs, I'm hopeful we can have most squashed this year, resource/time permitting.

Starting the Rootlands, I mean, Harandar at 89. Initial impressions: absolutely gorgeous.

Done with Eversong and most of Zul'Aman at 88. Will probably be bordering on 89 when I go to Harandar tomorrow. Having a great time. Story, gameplay and the questing experience in general feels much better put together compared to TWW (so far). Hope Harandar and Voidstorm are at that same level.

Taking a closer look at some of the differences between the OG Hearthstone Tavern model and the now updated model for the Arcantina. Notably, it appears like they just ctrl-f yeeted all the Hearthstone related doodads... including the actual Hearthstone. They did however forget to remove its stand.

As of the latest wow.export update, we've added archive.wow.tools as fallback CDN as we've already had users report crashes due to level3 not serving files correctly. Online mode in wow.export is still only to be used if you don't have WoW installed locally as it is more prone to issues like this.

I think Pinterest might not have updated their anti-spam systems to account for automated uploads from WoW.

Another fun thing that WTL can do is also show other terrain image data such as maptextures. These are pre-baked terrain textures used for faster distant terrain rendering on (usually) continents. They are only made of terrain textures and as such aren't obscured by models, fog or terrain holes.
