The twos in Tarot are the first expressions of energy within their suits (aces are like the possibility or seed). When you combine movement with disks/pentacles, the suit of material things, you get change. A reminder that death and taxes aren't the only constants in life. Change is normal!

Seems like an especially good day to remind folks that trans rights are human rights. No really. It turns out when you help a marginalized group of people to live their lives normally, with the same protections we all have, it makes society better for everyone. Who knew, right?

Has been a heck of a week. And yet I have to say that I've never slept better. Reading up on Jungian analysis of dreams, and trying in my limited, amateur sense, to apply some of it has already begun turning what would be anxiety dreams into pleasant nights' sleeps. Stuff is pretty amazing.

You know what's disappointing about this? Tarot as a format has such a rich set of symbolism an artist can draw on. Those who have made their own decks are often consumed by the project. Seeing a commonly shared thing like a deck, filtered through an artist's eyes is beautiful. Total fail here.

And as a reminder, if any mutuals wanna see what's amazing in VRChat, one of my favorite things ever is bringing new folks to cool events. Art galleries, live music, stage performances, there's a lot to love about the VR people actually care about.

Unlike AI or NFTs or crypto, VR has some legitimate, cool use cases. But Meta didn't invest in VR because it believed in VR. Like AI and NFTs and Crypto, tech invested in VR because it just wanted to integrate itself into our lives in inextricable ways it thought it could force upon users.

Reminding you today, if you need to hear it, as I myself was reminded. Don't forget to let go a bit if you're having a tough time. Letting go doesn't mean ignoring your problems or procrastinating things you need to do. But you don't have to hold them in your head so firmly the you have no escape.
