My fic "What we do behind the scenes" will be taken down from Ao3 - temporarily. I'm going to make revisions, add stuff, and I intend to post it again once it is complete.

I've been clearing out my old apartment today once more and the thought of leaving it for good is so bittersweet. On the one hand it's what I've always wanted, namely leaving the place behind since I never really liked it. But I also wish I could have found a job in my uni town. I miss it so much.

The older I get, the more annoying most social media is to me. In the past few weeks alone I have deactivated both Twitter and Threads and my mental health has SKYROCKETED. Everyone is so aggressive there. I hope this won't happen to Bluesky or, worse, tumblr.

Perhaps this is an unpopular opinion, but: charging 40€ for a day ticket to Comic Con Germany is way too expensive. Even more so when half of the convention consists of Star Wars and the other half is made of stalls that sell overpriced shit that is clearly nothing special. I left after two hours.

Fellow fic writers, how do you handle this situation? I've received a comment on a fic that is apparently meant as "constructive criticism" and reads as if I had hired them as a personal editor, incl. change suggestions. As an actual editor myself, I am baffled that they think this is okay.

I really love The Sims. I really do. But each update/patch does not fix the game but fucks it up further. I've had to abandon so many save files because the updates destroyed or corrupted them. What kind of product management is this? What kind of customer service? I'm so fucking fed up with EA.

The best thing for me about having a new fic project for Captive Prince is how my brain (and @majonezanna.bsky.social 's brain) keeps producing all sorts of scenes and headcanons. Brightens my work day every fucking time. (Laurent has glasses. Damen carries cleaning tissues in his purse for him.)
