dipping my toes into the Mac pool... there are things I don't like, but I don't hate it overall. If I were to ditch Windows, I like that I still have the option of native Adobe apps (I know). ...but my Cintiq is so old now that the Mac can only use it as a display. Pen & touch do not work at all.

Starting to think I just don't have any patience left for technology. My buddy and I have been wondering how his Mac(s) might decode my laserdisc & VHS captures, vs my PC running Windows or Linux. Getting it to work has been another frustrating experience, because the wiki for Mac is incomplete.

In other news, I finally started rendering some of my most recent animation work last night, and it... is hardly my best work. Super low-poly characters with shit rigs, and the animation didn't need to be the best (except when it did) because it would never be seen up close. But it's what I have.

Giving CSP a whirl on my tablet, and already hating it for the simple fact that it's getting in my way. Turning on onion skinning in the timeline did nothing. Editing its settings from the animation menu turned it on, but now it won't turn off.

Seeing a sort of animated revival of a comic strip I haven't read in years, and having the nagging feeling that it's AI... well now I've had it confirmed. That the artist's more Looney Tunes-ish style has been made oddly Disney-like should have been my first clue.

(sudden urge to look up the Constructicons) ...I've been hesitant to collect the Studio 86 versions partly due to the cost, but also because (except for two) they're sold separately. What if one is out of stock? I'm wondering how big a box set like the original would be?
