The only monarch we need!

We hear “stick to sports” too much, but let’s be clear here: Team USA itself refused to stick to sports, eschewing representation of so much great American culture for, uh, Da Troops and nothing else.

Turned on the WBC pregame only to be greated by A-Rod inventing a guy who constantly nit picks at Aaron Judge, then he says Aaron Judge IS AMERICA, and one of the best players of “our” generation (sir, you’re 50). …that’s enough A-Rod for tonight.

Ugh, the chud like nature of Team ‘merica has taken a lot of fun out of the tourney for me, but good baseball is good baseball and tonight’s final is going to have plenty of that. #WorldBaseballClassic

So far today, I’ve had a Banquet Beef Pot Pie, watched “Steven King’s Thinner” and listened to Madonna’s “American Pie.” I’ve had either the worst pie day ever or the best pie day ever.
