Isleham Wash; Levels back up. It’s like a yo-yo 🪀 that place. Just 4 Common Terns and 2 Avocet, neither of which are breeding. 6 Gadwall, plus a brood of 7 ducklings, 2 Tufted Duck, 2 Shoveler and 2 Egyptian Geese the best of the rest.

Isleham Wash drying up quickly - too quickly? Just 6 Avocets and 4 Common Terns remaining, looks like no breeding is likely, for another year. A f Gadwall with 9 ducklings was reason for some cheer.

2 Redshank, 6 Avocet, Green Sandpiper and Oystercatcher at Isleham Wash. Lots of mud, so bodes well for Waders, providing it doesn’t dry out some more. Not such good conditions for the 5 Common Terns, 2 Gadwall and 1 Shoveler.
