The funny thing about finally reading Moby-Dick after knowing of its reputation for so long is that sentences like these are framed completely differently. At face value, this sentence is a profound commentary on “passion” and “vanity.” In context, it’s a joke about a guy standing on another guy!

My favorite chess games to study are the ones from the old swashbucklers. Tossing your knights at your opponent, and having your army slowly march them off the board until there isn't any room left. I don't always get to play that way, but this Halloween Gambit game sure was fun.

Earlier today during a subject matter hearing on HB 1856 Jim Morphew announced a soon-to-be-released Supreme Court policy to improve transparency to be implemented through the AOIC and OSPS. This policy is not FOIA, and will not grant the same access as FOIA does, but it's still worth looking into.
