Since I've been talking about eclipse glasses, a PSA. 7 yrs ago I drove 5 hours to totality and slept in my car the night before. After totality the drive home was 18 solid hrs, 5 mph on the highway. Hotel room markup near path is nearly 10x. Look for hotels an hour or two away if driving far.
