Hey everyone here is a quick update from Tess. I figured it would be easier to read this way than a bunch of posts.

(From Tess) Cancer is not something we should be afraid of discussing. Neither is autism or trauma. I'm so tired of people feeling like they have to be terrified or avoid thinking about any of it. It is all a part of life and you never know who in your life might be affected.

Nowadays I know my capacity and I protect myself. Chris does too. If you are like us? I hope you'll stay and please please please know you are not alone.

Skill regression is real. And it made us both believe we were failures. This is still something we are undoing. I am no longer going to hide. I cannot be who I was before 2020. I am a slow, soft little creature who cries and gets overwhelmed easily.

TLDR: The world has changed drastically. We will work in 2026 to tie up all loose ends and survive. We are broken but not destroyed. Most of all, we love you. We wish you peace and very happy holidays.

Tess has promised me she will never stop making comics and art books. So no worries there. But commissions will likely not come back for quite some time.

Covid changed the landscape. Our goal in 2026 is to work to mail out the backlogs and work with printers and the post office to get everything on its way to forever homes.

But the changes to infrastructure are happening too fast. Please be kind when you message us. Tess went through 2 rounds of death threats this past year and, as you can see since I'm still here, has not been ok at all. Survivorship changed us.

End of Year Update: We are heading into 2026 while drowning. There will likely be no more physical shipping moving forward. I am locked in shipping Tess's survivorship backlog. I average about 10-20 packages a month while working to finish the books and my own work.
