Hello Monday! Woke up with anxiety after a night of nightmares about surgery and war. My surgery isn't even until April. Wish my brain would calm down. Chris has 4 dr appts this month including surgery. Our catch up is ongoing because crisis follows us like a dog. 1 step forward 10 steps back. 🙉

March 3, 2025 diary comic. The DTLA skyline infiltrated my comics full time at this point. Good medicine in that view. Not sure why. Maybe because we had to drive down here from the Valley during the pandemic when I had cancer. Never felt safe until the skyline was in sight.

Does anyone else disocciate to places they've visited? I never knew there was a name for when my brain goes away. I'm still trying to understand how it manifests for other people. My mind makes entire movies. downtown LA has a magic I'm still learning to capture. This was one of my earliest.
